Shipping & Local Delivery Policy

Local Delivery Area

Mercury Flowers offers local delivery exclusively within the Los Angeles area based on distance from our store location:

900 S Figueroa Street, Los Angeles, CA 90015

Delivery eligibility and fees are calculated automatically at checkout based on the delivery address.

We do not offer nationwide or out-of-state shipping.


Delivery Zones & Distance-Based Fees

Mercury Flowers provides local delivery using a distance-based pricing model.

Delivery fees are automatically calculated at checkout based on the delivery address and distance from our store.

Current Delivery Rates

  • Up to 4 miles — $8.95
  • 4 to 8 miles — $12.00
  • 8 to 15 miles — $20.00
  • 15 to 25 miles — $30.00
  • 25 to 35 miles — $30.00

No minimum order is required.


Important Notes About Delivery Fees

  • Delivery fees are service charges, not product prices
  • Fees cover labor, transportation, and handling
  • Delivery fees are non-refundable once delivery is attempted
  • Fees may increase during peak floral holidays due to demand and logistics

Delivery Timeframes

Customers can select a delivery date and time window at checkout.

However:

  • Delivery time windows are estimates, not guarantees
  • Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, building access, or high order volume
  • Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 6:00 PM, subject to availability

Recipient Availability & Delivery Attempts

Customers are responsible for providing:

  • A complete and accurate delivery address
  • A valid contact number for the recipient (when possible)

If the recipient is unavailable at the time of delivery, Mercury Flowers may:

  • Leave the order in a safe and reasonable location (e.g., front door, reception, front desk), when appropriate
  • Attempt to contact the recipient using the provided phone number
  • Complete delivery based on driver discretion

Safe drop decisions are made to ensure timely and successful delivery.


Incorrect Address / Failed Delivery

If delivery cannot be completed due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Restricted access (gated buildings, offices, hospitals, etc.)
  • Recipient unavailability

The order may be considered fulfilled after a delivery attempt.

Redelivery may be offered at an additional fee, depending on product condition and availability.


Delivery Confirmation

Delivery confirmation may include internal delivery logs and status updates.

Orders marked as Delivered are considered completed and are not eligible for cancellation or refund.


Pickup Orders

Pickup is available at our store location.

Customers are responsible for selecting a pickup time at checkout and collecting the order within that timeframe.

Orders not picked up on the scheduled date may be considered fulfilled.


Peak Dates & High-Volume Periods

During peak floral holidays (including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and similar events):

  • Delivery time windows are strictly estimates only
  • Delays are more likely due to high demand
  • Order changes, cancellations, and delivery adjustments may be limited
  • Routing and delivery methods may be adjusted to complete deliveries efficiently

Customer Responsibility

By placing an order, you agree that:

  • Delivery fees are distance-based and non-refundable
  • Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees
  • Accurate delivery information is required for successful delivery
